Australian Sencha
Australian grown green Sencha tea.
Japanese-style Sencha grown and produced in Victoria, Australia. It has a delicate aroma and the flavour is mild and pleasant with a fresh, herbaceous character and an almost creamy aftertaste. It has the same characteristics as traditional Japanese sencha but is a bit lighter on the palate and has less of the astringent grassy taste that is normally associated with a sencha tea.
To brew your Australian Sencha tea, use 1 tsp. per cup and brew in hot water (70-90℃) for 60 seconds to 1 minute. Let it cool down a bit before serving. Great with food or as an after meal tea.
